We are located on the west coast and love to hike and backpack throughout the Sierra Nevada, Cascade, Rocky, Bitterroot, Blue, and Monitor mountain ranges. This Blog will include posts about backpacking, hiking, reviews of backpacking equipment, and maybe even a little about life and other adventures along the way.
At Backpacking King we want to help you enjoy your hike through life, enjoy the journey, and to reach your destination. We have a philosophy about hiking, it’s more than a past time or a hobby, it’s a way of living, it’s a metaphor for life.
Life is like a good hike, hard and sweaty, but if you just keep putting one foot in front of the other, and get up when you fall down, you will reach your destination, and if you take your time and stay in the moment you will notice beauty every step along the way.
